Ice cream, ice cream, we can still love ice cream! Yuup, give me all the nice cream!
I thought it’d be cool to keep a growing list of the ice cream that I’ve tried and recommend. Do you have a favorite? Leave it in the comments so we can expand our taste buds together!

I love eating non-dairy ice cream because it makes the tummy happy, while also leaving the cruelty of the dairy industry out of it. (Let’s be real, we really don’t need it!)
Whether you’re buying for a vegan friend, or you’re lactose-intolerant, I do believe there is an ice cream that will satisfy your sweet tooth.
MY (GROWING) LIST OF TRIED & RECOMMENDED NON-DAIRY, VEGAN FRIENDLY ICE CREAM
SO DELICIOUS
Local, and made in Oregon, So Delicious is a favorite of mine. You may have seen or used their non-dairy creamers, but they also have a fantastic range of products. As for their ice cream, my favorite is their Salted Caramel bars. I’ve also had their pints, other flavors of their bars, and their coco whip is SO DELICIOUS! Feed your soul with all their yumminess.
TOFUTTI
I love Tofutti Cuties. These little snack-sized ice cream sandwiches are such a treat – I eat them up in a couple of bites! So glad they come with EIGHT!
COOLHAUS
Women owned and founded, Coolhaus brings us THICK, creamy and delicious ice cream sandwiches and pints.
I’ve tried every nearly every single flavor of their sammies, and my favorite are the Tahitian Vanilla and the Dirty Mint Chip. My husband’s favorite is the Cookie Dough Lyfe. And let me tell ya, they are BIG ice cream sandwiches!
I love supporting this brand when I can because of their story and mission! They really are awesome desserts!
HAAGEN DAZ
Haagen Daz is a brand you will likely be familiar of, and they have vegan-friendly ice cream too! My favorite is their Cocount Caramel Dark Chocolate bars
BEN N JERRYS
Ben and Jerry’s has 14 19 Certified Vegan ice cream pints, and I am working on trying them all! You can’t go wrong with Ben n Jerry’s, and it’s awesome they have such a great selection!
My favorite is their Mint Chocolate Cookie… oh it’s so good. When I was younger, I loved going to Coldstone Creamery because they had this mint ice cream without chocolate chips in it. It was the only place I could find without them. WHY DOES EVERY MINT ICE CREAM HAVE SO MANY DANG CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN THEM?! Anyone else not a fan choco chips in ice cream?
But this, THIS ice cream has chunks of chocolate (oreo like) cookies inside and the chips are tiny. SO. GOOOD.
Story time: I don’t like coffee, but once I bought their coffee caramel fudge when I thought it was another caramel one, and I still enjoyed it. I was surprised. It still tasted like coffee, yet I ate the whoooole pint! How bad can you really mess up Ben and Jerry’s ice cream though?! I guess you can say I’m a coffee fan now!
All the flavors I’ve had so far and enjoyed (in no particular order): Cherry Garcia, Mint Chocolate Cookie, Caramel Almond Brittle, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Cookie Dough, and their Milk” and Cookies. Still, my favorite is the Mint Chocolate Cookie!

This blog post about vegan ice cream is not to tell you that you can only have these brands, PLEASE, NO, don’t do that to yourself!
I know there are other absolutely satisfying, and delicious ice cream out there that I have yet to try. This will be a growing list, and when I get the opportunity to indulge, I’ll report back!
